TDRBCF Hosts Breast Cancer Clinic

Los Angeles, CA (Monday, January 14, 2008) – Five of California’s largest women’s health organizations will join forces on Saturday, January 26, 2008 to present Weighting 2 Exhale Health and Wellness Summit. This year’s theme is “Links To Healthy Life Choices” and will be hosted at Wilshire United Methodist Church on 4350 Wilshire Blvd., in Los Angeles, CA 90005.

From 8:30 to 3:00pm, this event will feature health clinics for breast cancer, children’s dental, and health screening. The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation (TDRBCF) will host the Breast Cancer Clinic. A vendor health fair will provide health education resources to the community. At this affair, Black Womens Agenda, Inc. will donate $1,200 to TDRBCF to support its Mammograms Can Save Lives Program.

Anheuser-Busch Companies Donates $10K to TDRBCF

Deloria Jones, Manager of Geographic Marketing and Community Outreach for Anhueser-Busch Companies, facilitated the company's donation of $10,000 to TDRBCF in support of its Breast Health Education and Early Cancer Detection programs. "I am so excited to see what this new year brings in regards to the development and expansion of our mission. We are grateful for the continued support that Anheuser-Busch demonstrates because without it, we couldn't realize our goals," says Denise Roberts, Founding President of The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation.
